Will you illustrate my picture book?​

I typically don't work with self-published authors or projects for pitching to publishing houses. If you’re working with a publishing house already and you feel like your project is a good fit, please feel free to reach out to me.

Do you take private commissions (ex: family or pet portraits)

YES. My books are currently open for a small number of private commissions! If you'd like to apply for one of my slots, please use the contact form on the website to inquire.

Can I interview you for school or student intern/mentor?

I get many requests from students for interviews and mentorships. While I would love to take on each and every one, I'm afraid it's not possible at this time. You can email me, but please understand if I can’t respond to you. Interviews take a lot of time to thoughtfully answer and mentorships/internships to facilitate.  I've posted a few past interviews and podcasts on my site and I hope you'll find them helpful.

Will you give an artist talk, facilitate a workshop, or the like?

I'm rarely available to teach classes, workshops, or give artist talks. However, if you have an opportunity you think would be a good fit, please feel free to reach out with details including the schedule and artist-fee.
